Below, check out the latest odds, best bets, and my EURO 2024 Group F predictions!

EURO 2024 Group F Betting Odds

Portugal is the team to beat in Group F, and the odds confirm that. They are expected to win fairly comfortably over the competition and advantage as the group winner.

Consequently, the talented Portuguese team led by Cristiano Ronaldo has the shortest odds of advantage to the knockouts. However, is there any value in Portugal’s EURO 2024 F Group odds to finish atop the table?

You can find up-to-date odds on EURO 2024 Group F at Bovada by navigating to Sports > Soccer > UEFA Euro 2024 > Futures > EURO – GROUP F.

Group F Winner Odds

The following 2024 European Championship odds are courtesy of Bovada:

TEAMODDS
Portugal-275
Turkey+425
Czechia+575
Georgia+2200

Portugal (-275) is a heavy favorite to outlast their rivals to win Group F. As a -275 betting favorite, the country has a 73.3% implied probability of finishing atop the group. This is an upgrade from the EURO 2024 Group F betting odds two months ago.

The Portuguese side was -225 with an implied chance of 69.2%. Public sentiment is trending up on Portugal, while Turkey (+425) and Georgia (+2200) have been downgraded.

Turkey’s price has moved from +400 to +425. Georgia has fallen considerably, as they are +2200 after +1600 odds in April. That sounds more accurate for Georgia, who should have never been +1600 to win Group F.

To Qualify From F Odds

TEAMODDS
Portugal-2500
Turkey-300
Czechia-180
Georgia+160

As expected, Portugal has the best odds to advance to the knockout stage. It would be a massive shocker if the team chokes so much that they don’t make it out of the group stage.

At -2500, the Portuguese squad has a huge 96.2% implied probability of advancing! Behind Portugal, Turkey has a strong chance as well at -300 odds. In fact, every team in Group F has a greater than 50% chance of qualifying according to the top sports betting sites.

Portugal – Can Ronaldo’s EURO Swan Song End In Gold?

Portugal can make it two European Championship titles in eight years. The talented Portuguese squad, which traditionally struggles to reach expectations at major tournaments, captured the EURO 2016 championship.

In a thrilling spectacle, Eder scored in the 109th minute to give Portugal a 1-0 victory over France. Despite 39-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo not getting any younger, this is a talented team even when he’s off the pitch.

Impact Players

Whenever anyone thinks of Portuguese soccer, the first thought is Ronaldo. Long after he retires, he will be synonymous with the soccer program in Portugal.

However, Portugal is much more than just Ronaldo, as this squad is equipped with the best talent in Group F. Ronaldo could play a background role and Portugal could find success.

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes spearheads a potent attack for Portugal. The 29-year-old playmaker has a variety of tools in his arsenal that could lead Portugal to an upset win in the EURO 2024 final. AC Milan’s Rafael Leao is another explosive forward on the Portuguese national team.

In addition to a strong offense, Portugal has talent everywhere on the pitch with the likes of Diogo Dalot, Joao Cancelo, Ruben Neves, Bernardo Silva, and Matheus Nunes, among others. This is a talent-laden squad, but midfielder Octavio is the most notable absentee.

He suffered an injury in the King’s Cup final, which will keep him out of EURO 2024. Nevertheless, Portugal shouldn’t have issues facilitating offense in the group stage against this competition.

Recent Performances & Team Form

Portugal was a no-show two matches ago against Slovenia in a 2-0 loss. However, they responded with an impressive performance with a 4-2 victory over Finland on June 4.

Prior to the loss versus Slovenia, Portugal was demolishing opponents. They won 11 straight matches with no draws since early 2023! Portugal pounded Sweden for a 5-2 beatdown only days before the loss to the Slovenians.

Portugal’s Last Five Results:

  • Portugal 4 – Finland 2 (June 4, 2024)
  • Slovenia 2 – Portugal 0 (March 26, 2024)
  • Portugal 5 – Sweden 2 (March 21, 2024)
  • Portugal 2 – Iceland 0 (Nov. 19, 2023)
  • Portugal 2 – Liechtenstein 0 (Nov. 16, 2023)

When Portugal is in their best form and at full strength, they have the talent to beat any team in the world, so finishing at the top of this group is the most likely outcome.

Portugal will conclude their preparations with one final friendly against Croatia on Saturday, June 8.

Turkey – Dark Horses of EURO 2024?

Turkey’s EURO 2020 bid ended in disaster after going out in the group stage without earning a single point. Matches against Wales, Switzerland, and Italy all resulted in losses.

This was a team that many fans had as a big dark horse for their European Championship predictions. However, the Turks forgot to play the games and suffered a goal differential of -7!

Three years after that train wreck, is this finally the year that Turkey plays up to expectations? They will have plenty of support from the local Turkish community, so expect the nation to feel at home in Germany.

Impact Players

Turkey has a young core of players who have a chance to be difference makers at EURO 2024. 18-year-old Kenan Yildiz from Juventus could play a significant role, while 19-year-old Arda Güler is prepared to have a breakout party soon as well.

However, for now, this is still Hakan Calhanoglu’s club. The talented 30-year-old is a versatile midfielder for Inter Milan. He’s only seemingly gotten better with age. Calhanoglu has notched 11 goals this season, which breaks his previous career-high.

In addition to the star, Orkun Kokcu and Kerem Akturkoglu will provide solid support on the attack. There is no shortage of firepower here for Turkey.

Recent Performances & Team Form

Turkey didn’t put their best foot forward in friendly competition in March. After a close 1-0 affair versus Hungary, they went down hard in a 6-1 loss to Austria.

However, wins over Croatia in EURO qualifying, 1-0, and over Germany, 3-2, in a friendly lifted the country’s hopes. Also, Turkey most recently held for a 0-0 draw against the defending EURO champs from Italy on June 4.

Which Turkish squad shows up in Germany?

Turkey’s Last Five Results:

  • Turkey 0 – Italy 0 (June 4, 2024)
  • Austria 6 – Turkey 1 (March 26, 2024)
  • Hungary 1 – Turkey 0 (March 22, 2024)
  • Turkey 1 – Wales 1 (Nov. 21, 2023)
  • Turkey 3 – Germany 2 (Nov. 18, 2023)

In 2022, Portugal handled Turkey for a 3-1 victory in a qualifying match. I expect a similar result against the favorite, but the other teams in the group are beatable. On Monday, June 10, Poland and Turkey square off in the last friendly match before EURO 2024 begins.

Czechia – Ivan Hasek Surprises In First EURO?

Czechia’s Jaroslav Silhavy stepped down from his post as head coach in November. Despite qualifying for the EUROs, Silhavy resigned due to constant criticism from the fan base.

Although Czech fans wish that the EURO 2024 qualification went smoother, this is the eighth straight appearance for the country at the European Championships, so there’s not much room for complaining!

Now, it’s up to former midfielder Ivan Hasek to lead Czechia to the glory land.

Impact Players

Patrik Schick, Tomas Soucek, and Adam Hložek will be depended on heavily for Czechia. They have a fairly formidable core with these three, but I question their depth against Turkey and especially Portugal.

Soucek captains what should be a fairly stingy defense and a midfield eager to support the back line. Soucek currently plays as a defensive midfielder for West Ham United. He is a competent two-player player who can score from set pieces.

Czechia might need him to be everywhere at once in this tournament, though. This is where Schick and Hlozek must be in strong form at EURO 2024.

Czechia’s EUROs 2024 Group F odds don’t give a decent chance to win, and I agree with this sentiment. If Portugal doesn’t win, Turkey has the ability to replace them at the top of the table.

Recent Performances & Team Form

The Czech are on a three-match winning streak, which includes their EURO 2024 clinching win over Moldova, 3-0. In March, the Czech Republic edged out Norway and Armenia for 2-1 wins.

They haven’t lost since a humiliating 3-0 performance versus Albania in October. Following that one, Czechia weren’t at their best in a 1-0 win over Faroe Islands, but they are unbeaten in five.

Czechia still has two friendlies remaining before opening EURO 2024 against Portugal on Tuesday, June 18. They’ll face Malta and North Macedonia in warm-up matches.

Czechia’s Last Five Results:

  • Czechia 2 – Armenia 1 (March 26, 2024)
  • Czechia 2 – Norway 1 (March 22, 2024)
  • Czechia 3 – Moldova 0 (Nov. 20, 2023)
  • Czechia 1 – Poland 1 (Nov. 17, 2023)
  • Czechia 1 – Faroe Islands 0 (Oct. 15, 2023)

Czechia is one of the most inconsistent teams at EURO 2024. They can’t afford any lapses to have a chance to succeed in Group F.

Georgia – Can The Biggest Underdog Shock EURO 2024?

Georgia has the longest odds to win EURO 2024. At +50000, Georgia has just a 0.2% implied probability of winning the tournament!

Previously, Albania and Georgia were tied for the worst price. Albania’s odds have shortened to +25000, while Georgia is now by themselves at +50000.

Albania got unlucky and drew the “Group of Death”, while Georgia doesn’t have the talent to put a dent in the EURO 2024 Group F odds.

Impact Players

Georgia is not completely void of talent. Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili is one of the finest goalkeepers in Group F. He must play out of his mind in net to advance to the knockout stages.

Additionally, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia must carry the load on offense. His amazing dribbling and creativity will need to be on display multiple times for every game in the group.

A player like Georges Mikautadze has to step up and contribute in elite form or Georgia’s chances will deteriorate rather quickly. In any event, Bovada currently has Georgia at +160 to qualify for the knockouts.

That’s a hard pass in my opinion! This team is not completely doomed, but it will be a huge surprise to see Georgia in the knockouts.

Recent Performances & Team Form

Georgia is coming off a thrilling 0(4) – 0(2) win over Greece to reach EURO 2024. Yes, Greece and Turkey had a chance to be in the same group, but Georgia saved the tournament from upheaval in Germany between Turkish and Greek fans.

The Georgians were also in good form in a critical match against Luxembourg for a 2-0 win five days earlier. Drawing versus Scotland was also a big point for Georgia’s qualification run4.

Georgia’s Last Five Results:

  • Georgia 0 – Greece 0 (March 26, 2024)
  • Georgia 2 – Luxembourg 0 (March 21, 2024)
  • Spain 3 – Georgia 1 (Nov. 19, 2023)
  • Georgia 2 – Scotland 2 (Nov. 16, 2023)
  • Georgia 4 – Cyprus 0 (Oct. 15, 2023)

There are some clutch performances on Georgia’s spring to EURO 2024. They need it to continue in Germany, but the competition will stiffen up. We’ll see how Georgia performs in their final friendly against Montenegro on Sunday, June 9.

A win would be a nice confidence lifter for the Georgians heading into their EURO 2024 opener versus Turkey.

EURO 2024 Group F Predictions and Best Bets

The way I see it, Group F is simple: If Portugal has all their main pieces healthy and starting, they shouldn’t have trouble in the group stage. They may also go on a deep run at the European Championship crown.

However, Portugal does not have the same roster depth compared to EURO 2024 favorites France and England. If they aren’t healthy, that’s when some doubt could creep in, and even Turkey could have a chance to win Group F.

Still, Portugal has a clear advantage. Turkey is coming on, but they are likely a few years away. Yildiz and Güler are still in their teens. Turkey will be in serious business when those two reach their peak in the coming years.

Nevertheless, Portugal is the team to beat right now, as their core brings too much talent to the equation in Group F. I recommend backing Portugal to win Group F at -225 odds, since this team is much better than the competition.
