Additionally, Venezuela, which has produced multiple superstar MLB players, represents Latin America as a +250 favorite. All three teams own a 28.6% implied probability to win the international bracket.

Like the international bracket, however, there isn’t an obvious favorite to win the US tournament. Hawaii (+200) has the next likeliest chance of winning the international bracket with a 33.3% chance!

2024 Little League Series Favorites

Before releasing my best Little League Series betting picks, let’s analyze the top favorites to win the international and US brackets at MLB betting sites:

Southeast—Florida (+185)

Florida is among the biggest baseball factories in the United States. The Sunshine State saw 57 of its residents drafted at the 2024 MLB Draft — second only to California.

Florida has a large pool of young players involved in baseball throughout the state. Nevertheless, this hasn’t translated to Little League World Series titles. Florida has never won an LLWS championship, which likely comes as a surprise to most baseball fans.

The inaugural tournament was held in 1947, so that is a long 75-plus year drought! With the shortest Little League Series betting odds, Lake Mary is determined to deliver Florida’s first championship!

Lake Mary went 4-0 in the Southeast Regional Tournament, including blasting Tennessee by the mercy score of 11-0 to reach the LLWS. It was an uncompetitive regional, with Lake Mary winning 8-1 in the semifinals and 11-4 in the quarterfinals.

Despite never winning a Little League World Series, Florida has a great team going to Williamsport this year!

West—Hawaii (+200)

In a tough West Regional Tournament, Hawaii ousted Arizona, Northern Carolina, and Southern California to reach the Little League World Series. Hawaii narrowly defeated Southern California in the finals in a 2-1 pitching duel last week.

Central East Maui were able to bounce back from an early 11-3 loss to Southern California in the regional event. Finding success this time of the year has become a regular occurrence for Hawaii.

A team from Hawaii has won the Little League World Series twice since 2018, including two years ago in 2022. When a team from Hawaii qualifies, you know that they’re going to be a talented unit.

Beating the California teams to reach this point is an accomplishment in its own right! Even though they’re not here, Southern California would be one of the favorites in this tournament. It shows how good Hawaii can be to neutralize the Californians.

That said, the offense must be more consistent to keep pace with Lake Mary’s dangerous hitters!

Asia-Pacific—Chinese Taipei (+250)

Chinese Taipei aren’t strangers to winning at the LLWS. They have captured the Little League title 17 times! However, nobody was alive on this team the last time it happened. Chinese Taipei most recently won it all in 1996.

From 1986 to 1996, Chinese Taipei was a juggernaut with seven championships. Although they haven’t matched the same success since then, they’re typically in contention. Last year, Chinese Taipei finished third with a win over the Southwest.

They were equipped with one of the best pitchers in the tournament. Fan Chen-Jun took the LLWS by storm with his wizardry on the bump. Chen-Jun will not be returning to this year’s team. The entire team will be new compared to the 2023 roster.

This is more of a well-balanced roster than a team that had a couple of superstars a season ago. They don’t have a Chen-Jun, so the pitching staff will have to make up for the void.

Asia-Pacific’s Chinese Taipei sure looked good in the Regional Tournament, though. With a perfect mark of 5-0 and a recent Junior League Baseball title, they are cruising entering the Little League World Series!

Latin America—Venezuela (+250)

Venezuela enters its 22nd LLWS appearance with considerable momentum. They throttled the competition in the Latin America Regional Tournament for a blemish-free 7-0 record.

None of their opponents managed to offer much resistance, as “Cardenales” scored in the double digits in every outing aside from one 5-0 victory. The pitching staff was on fire in the regional championship against Nicaragua.

Not only the pitching, but the bats lit up the opposition again for a 10-0 win. The competition will stiffen up at the Little League World Series. However, no one is denying that this is one of the most confident and hottest teams heading to Pennsylvania.

Known for producing some of the best players in the world, including Miguel Cabrera, Jose Altuve, and Felix Hernandez, there is a long and storied history of baseball in Venezuela. However, the country hasn’t had a team win the LLWS since 2000.

Fresh off a Senior Little League World Series title, Cardenales has a fantastic opportunity to give Venezuela another major Little League title this summer!

Little League World Series Sleepers

After Aruba on the international side and Texas on the American side, the odds to win the Little League World Series fall off. Although these teams’ chances to capture the LLWS title are below average, I expect some surprises in Williamsport.

Have a look at my best longshot Little League World Series 2024 picks for each side below:

  1. In 2023, the Cuban Regional Tournament was introduced to the Little League World Series. This is only the second time that a team from Cuba will be represented.

With all the wonderful baseball players that have come out of Cuba, it’s surprising to hear, but this Santa Clara team is their best chance of ever winning an LLWS!

Santa Clara went 8-1 in the tournament en route to booking their ticket to Pennsylvania. They swept Sanctis Spiritus in a best-of-three series with 7-2 and 4-0 wins in dominant efforts.

At +900, Cuba’s Santa Clara is worth considering to win the international bracket!

  2. Possibly, the most underrated team going into the Little League World Series is Henderson’s Paseo Verde, representing Nevada. The surging Nevada side is on the heels of a no-hitter in the Mountain Regional Tournament.

Wyatt Erickson tossed a scoreless game to lead Nevada into the prestigious tournament. Despite having to go through the loser’s bracket to clinch a spot, Paseo Verge remained undeterred and came up big when it mattered the most!

If Nevada can find some more clutch magic in Pennsylvania, they could have a path to the LLWS championship!

Little League World Series 2024 Betting Picks

I have selections on both brackets for my Little League World Series predictions. With LLWS winner odds currently unavailable to win the tournament outright, you can still wager on the winner of the international and US sides on sports betting apps!

International Bracket Winner Prediction

Judging by the stat sheet and eye test, Venezuela was the most dominant team in the regionals this year. They made it look too easy in the Latin America Regional. The offense and pitching rolled over the competition in a clinic against inferior opponents.

Latin America didn’t have a strong group of teams for Venezuela to face, but they did everything asked of them and then some. The Venezuelans are exploding with confidence heading to Pennsylvania.

With this in mind, Venezuela is my top pick to win the international bracket over Chinese Taipei and Japan!

The Bet
Latin America—Venezuela

United States Bracket Winner Prediction

The US bracket is stacked with potential winners in 2024. Florida, who has never had a team win from their state, is favored to finally win the Little League World Series.

If their performance in the Southeast Regional Tournament is any indication, Lake Mary is ready to rewrite the history books! Demolishing a solid Tennessee team 11-0 and forcing the mercy rule in a championship matchup is impressive work.

Venezuela dismantled their opponents, but Florida managed to do it against tougher teams. Although there aren’t odds to win the 2024 Little League World Series on the board right now, Florida is my favorite team of the bunch.

They are one of the best Little League Series bets on the board at +185, so consider backing Florida’s Lake Mary!
