MGM Resorts announced last Friday that it will build “one of the world’s most exclusive live sports-viewing experiences” for the 2023 Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix.
According to a press release, MGM Resorts will build a grandstand over the lake at the Bellagio where guests can watch the race. Access to this viewing experience is currently only available through Grandstand and Room packages available via the MGM Rewards website.Additional details on MGM Resorts’ other events surrounding the Las Vegas Grand Prix will be announced over the next few months.

The three-day package comes in two options. The first is the Bellagio Grandstands where guests can watch the race from seats overlooking the track. The other is the Paddock Grandstands which offers customers a view from the start/finish line and a close-in look behind the scenes of the pit lane. Food and beverages within the two grandstands are included.
Both packages come with a three-night stay at a participating MGM Resorts property. The options here include Bellagio, Aria, Vdara, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Delano, Park MGM, New York-New York, Luxor, and Excalibur.
As of this writing, the prices for standard rooms overlooking the Las Vegas Strip at the Bellagio for three nights with Bellagio Grandstand tickets for the event are on sale for $5,455. Meanwhile, a Resort King Bellagio room with two three-day Bellagio Grandstands tickets had a price tag of $9,011.63 as of last Friday.

Last week, Formula 1 held a launch party ahead of next year’s inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix. The event was graced by the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, Red Bull’s Sergio Perez, and Williams’ driver Alex Albon. According to F1 officials, the event was attended by 43,000 people.
The 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix will be an official round of the 2023 Formula One World Championship. The 50-lap race has a total length of 190 miles and will take place on a temporary 3.8-mile street circuit which will include the Las Vegas Strip. It will mark the first time that Las Vegas is included in the Formula One Calendar since the 1982 Caesars Palace Grand Prix. It will be the third F1 Grand Prix race to take place in the United States after the Miami Grand Prix and United States Grand Prix.
Tickets for the race went on sale last week with prices ranging from $500 for a standing-room-only three-day pass to $10,000 for a Skybox Hospitality seat near the paddock. According to a report from casino.org, MGM Resorts “scooped up $20 million to $25 million worth of tickets, with plans to bundle hotel/race packages. Nothing official about that matter, however, has been announced.
