The Oasis reunion odds were looking quite slim, even as recently as a month ago. The band broke up, seemingly for good, in 2009 because of the poor relationship between the Gallagher brothers. A reunion wasn’t on the cards for almost 15 years, but everything changed overnight.
On August 27, Oasis fans all over the world rejoiced:
The band has announced that they’ll do their first set of shows together since 2009. The Oasis Live ’25 Tour starts on July 4, 2025, in Cardiff, Wales, and ends on August 17, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland. The fun part is that we have plenty of Oasis betting odds for potential developments in the next year or so.
Let’s look at the markets surrounding the band’s reunion, and see if some good picks are available. Of course, the market to keep an eye on is whether the Gallagher brothers will even make it to 2025. I’ll give you my analysis on that, and more, so read on to get my Oasis reunion betting picks!

To Appear on Stage with Oasis Odds and Prediction
Let’s kick off with who I think will appear on stage with Oasis during their 2025 tour:
ARTIST | ODDS |
---|---|
Johnny Marr | +800 |
Gary “Mani” Mounfield | +800 |
John Squire | +1000 |
Mark “Bez” Berry | +1200 |
Shaun Ryder | +1200 |
Peter Hook | +1200 |
Tim Burgess | +1500 |
Ian Brown | +2000 |
Damon Albarn | +3000 |
Dave Grohl | +3000 |
Harry Styles | +3000 |
Paul McCartney | +3000 |
The top options in these Oasis reunion betting odds on who will appear on stage with Oasis are all fellow English musicians who influenced the band.
Johnny Marr (+800) is a guitarist from The Smiths, while Gary “Mani” Mounfield (+800), John Squire (+1000), and Ian Brown (+2000) were all in The Stone Roses. Mark “Bez” Berry (+3000) and Shaun Ryder (+1200) were members of The Happy Mondays and Black Grape. Peter Hook (+1500) is known for his time in Joy Division, and later, New Order. Tim Burgess (+1500) was the lead singer of The Charlatans.
Damon Albarn (+3000) leads the next group, although it’s not likely as Oasis and Blur had a massive rivalry during the 1990s “Britpop” era. Dave Grohl probably won’t be there as Noel recently had some disparaging words to say about the Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana member.
Noel also called Harry Styles’ (+3000) music “worthless” in May 2023, so that would appear to rule him out. However, the Gallaghers wouldn’t dare say a bad thing about Paul McCartney (+3000), as The Beatles were one of, if not their biggest, influence.
Bovada also has other options listed, such as Coldplay’s Chris Martin (+8000), whose music they’ve belittled in the past. The same goes for Jay-Z (+15000), who Noel said shouldn’t have headlined Glastonbury in 2008. Jay-Z responded with a “cover” of “Wonderwall”, one of Oasis’ biggest hits.
If you go down the list of the rest of the options, you can probably find a time when either Oasis said something bad about that artist, or the artist did to them, as Keith Richards (+8000) did last year.
McCartney would be a huge get for the band, considering how much they love the Beatles. However, I’m going to lean on the options in the first paragraphs, as the Gallaghers, Noel in particular, are closer with them.
I’m taking Johnny Marr at +800 as he played on three tracks for Oasis’ fifth album, “Heathen Chemistry”. It would also wind up Morrissey (+8000), who was in The Smiths with Marr.
The two have been feuding since they broke up in 1987. Morrissey claimed on August 29 that Marr didn’t want to get The Smiths back together, instead choosing to play with Oasis. If there is one thing the Gallaghers love, it’s drama, and this would cause a bit of that.
Oasis Reunion Odds: 2025 Tour Specials
Next, let’s have a look at some 2025 Oasis Live ’25 Tour specials, starting with one that has been on everyone’s mind:
ARTIST | ODDS |
---|---|
Liam and Noel Get into a Physical Fight on Stage | +800 |
Liam to Throw a Tambourine at Noel on Stage | +800 |
Noel to Hit Liam with a Cricket Bat | +5000 |
As soon as the Oasis getting back together odds were released, my first thought was, “who is going to get in a fight first?”. Bovada didn’t let me down with this market. It wouldn’t be the first time there was an altercation on an Oasis stage:
In 2008 in Toronto, a man appeared on stage and pushed Noel from behind. The man received a year of house arrest for his efforts.
The last option, Noel to hit Liam with a cricket bat, is very specific, but there is a reason for it. When they were recording their second album, “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory”, the two had a fight that ended up with Noel hitting Liam with a cricket bat. If you see a cricket bat on a stage, Liam should beware, but that would be strange.
The first two options are absolutely possible. Liam plays the tambourine, along with lead vocals, and that could happen. But I’ll go with them getting into a physical fight on stage, likely someone throwing a punch at the other. The tambourine idea is just too specific for my entertainment betting account.
That being said, if you told me that Liam had thrown a tambourine at Noel before, I would believe you in a heartbeat.
Oasis Reunion Odds: Which Gallagher is the First to Drop Out?
Let’s see who I think would be the first of the brothers to drop out of the tour.
ARTIST | ODDS |
---|---|
Liam | -150 |
Noel | +110 |
The odds of Oasis reforming were highly unlikely as it was. These odds above are far more likely. July 2025 is a long way away, and given the relationship between the brothers, you wouldn’t be wrong in thinking there is a good chance they won’t actually make it to the first night on stage.
So, why are Oasis even getting back together? The Mirror reveals that it’s due to Peggy Gallagher, Liam and Noah’s mother. Her wish for her 80th birthday last year was for the brothers to mend fences. Now, take that with a grain of salt, as The Mirror is known as a tabloid in the United Kingdom. But what mother wouldn’t want her kids to reconcile?
I’m going to take the value here and recommend a bet on Noel at +110, which offers better value. Noel walked away from the band in 2009 hours before a show. Who is to say he wouldn’t do it again?
Which Song Will Oasis Perform First?
The final Oasis reunion betting market focuses on what song they’ll kick off their stadium tour with. Keep in mind that they start at Principality Stadium in Cardiff for two shows. Then they go home to Manchester for five shows at Heaton Park, a public park.
Oasis then move on to Wembley Stadium in London for five shows, then it’s off to Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. They’ll close the tour at Croke Park in Dublin, the fourth-largest stadium in Europe.
SONG | ODDS |
---|---|
Rock ‘N’ Roll Star | -500 |
Acquiesce | +1000 |
Cigarettes and Alcohol | +1000 |
Columbia | +1000 |
Whatever | +1000 |
What’s the Story (Morning Glory) | +1200 |
Live Forever | +1500 |
Lyla | +1500 |
Shakermaker | +1500 |
Supersonic | +1500 |
Turn Up the Sun | +1500 |
In terms of a bet on Oasis reunion odds, this is my lock. Their final set list at V Festival in the United Kingdom kicked off with “Rock ‘N’ Roll Star”, the first song on their debut album, “Definitely Maybe”. If you go through their section on Setlists.fm, you’ll find “Rock ‘N’ Roll Star” is their first song the majority of the time. There are few songs in the discography that describe Oasis better than this.
The old saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. These two wouldn’t have toured together in 16 years by the time we get to July 2025, so it would be easy to just start the way you always have. Lock in “Rock ‘N’ Star” as the set opener.
Where to Bet on Oasis Reunion Odds?
To summarize, my predictions for these Oasis reunion odds are:
- Johnny Marr (+800)
- Liam and Noel to Get into a Physical Fight on Stage (+800)
- Noel to leave the band first (+110)
- Rock ‘N’ Roll Star (-500)
